Well If my interest haven't said it yet I totally and fully believe in a past life i must've been a Japanese-writer-weirdo...lol. No but really, i am interested heavily in Japan and no it wasn't my love for Anime that planted that seed; well technically it was. It was some series that was dubbed on CN that my brother was watching and for the first time ever in my world they played the original ending song in Japanese. Well I fell in love with the song and had to download it and i was hooked, I longed to understand the song cuz it was just so gorgeous. So i had to find more music and the easiest way to go was dive into Anime. That's how i became truly hooked on Anime.
Then on my hunt for music (in 1999-2000) i came across fanfiction. OH MY GAWD! People used Japanese words in those! And the stories weren't bad either. In 2000 I got up the courage and wrote my first fanfiction... OH man did it suck but people liked it for some reason so i wrote another and another.. and i still write them now.
Only recently have i begun teaching myself to read a bit of Japanese. I'm going to live there one day. No one believes me but i will. Till then I'll indulge in Anime and fanfiction till my heart bursts. So tell me about you! lol.
